The Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to managing the financial and contractual aspects of various infrastructure projects, ensuring cost control and compliance throughout their lifecycle.

Role Summary

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing cost-control activities, conducting precise measurements, and managing contract-related tasks for infrastructure projects. This position requires a professional who can effectively monitor project finances and support contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare interim payment applications, measurement sheets, and comprehensive cost reports.
• Review contract documents to ensure strict compliance with established cost parameters.
• Measure completed work accurately and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for any changes or additional works required.
• Provide assistance in the preparation and negotiation of claims, variations, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor project cost performance diligently and report any deviations from budget or plan.
• Evaluate contractor invoices and provide support for overall contract administration processes.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Quantity Surveyor position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in cost control, measurement, and contract management, particularly within infrastructure projects. A proven track record in the outlined responsibilities is essential.
