About the Role at Capital Numbers

Capital Numbers is seeking an experienced React JS Developer to join our Banking/FinTech technology team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position focused on developing modern web applications within a regulated, high-availability environment. The role involves contributing to greenfield initiatives and building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Developing FinTech Solutions

The successful candidate will apply strong expertise in modern React development, coupled with hands-on experience in CI/CD and Docker. A proven background in banking, fintech, or digital payments is essential for this role. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust applications that meet industry standards for security, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React JS and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components using React Hooks, Context API, Redux/Zustand, and modern React best practices.
• Optimize application performance through techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and performance tuning.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, and various backend services.
• Write unit and integration tests utilizing Jest and React Testing Library.
• Build, manage, and optimize Docker images and containers for production deployments.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Work with Nginx or Apache for basic web server configuration and reverse proxy setup.
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, QA, and business teams within an Agile development environment.
• Develop applications that adhere to banking security, compliance, and high-availability requirements.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to greenfield product development initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in React JS development.
• Strong expertise in modern frontend technologies.
• Mandatory experience in Banking, FinTech, or Digital Payments.
• Essential experience with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms.
• Experience with specific banking systems, such as Temenos T24.
• Arabic language proficiency is a beneficial attribute.
