Recruitment Officer

About the Role

Misk Schools is seeking a Recruitment Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, with a primary focus on managing the full recruitment cycle under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition Manager. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a candidate database and develop a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
• Organize employment requisitions and manage job postings for open positions.
• Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals.
• Review and assess candidate suitability for required posts, conducting phone screens to gather information on education, experience, training, job skills, and salary expectations.
• Provide a positive candidate experience and act as a Misk Schools ambassador.
• Schedule interviews, manage calendars for hiring teams and candidates, and greet onsite interviewees.
• Conduct sociometric hiring tests and coordinate hiring activities with internal and external clients.
• Provide post-interview information to hiring managers and prepare pre-employment and new hire paperwork.
• Follow safer recruitment practices and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
• Follow up with government relations regarding visa requirements for international hires.
• Conduct new hire onboarding, including preparing induction employee profiles and delivering orientation programs, as needed.
• Track and update recruitment activity status in weekly reports for the Recruitment team and relevant departments.
• Maintain partnerships with all departments to understand their business and recruitment needs.
• Collaborate and build relationships with recruitment agencies.
• Maintain calendars for the Recruitment team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization.
• Maintain the stakeholder as the focus of all activities and work flexibly according to organizational needs.
• Undertake additional duties as required by the line manager.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

The Recruitment Officer is required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, adhering to the school’s safeguarding policies and staff code of conduct. This role will directly support the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at Misk Schools.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a full recruitment cycle.
• Familiarity with various sourcing methods and recruitment best practices.
• Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
