The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and driving sales engagements, focusing on connecting customers with solutions for threat prevention.

Role Overview

This position involves meeting and exceeding sales quotas through the development and implementation of strategic territory plans. The focus is on targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. The role requires a proactive approach to winning business and market share by displacing competing technologies, leveraging Palo Alto Networks' platformization strategy and best-in-breed solutions for zero-trust security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal partners and teams to serve customers.
• Initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors using consultative selling skills.
• Create and implement strategic account plans aimed at achieving enterprise-wide deployments.
• Understand the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks.
• Engage in a programmatic approach to generate demand, develop, and expand the assigned territory.
• Leverage prospect stories to create compelling value propositions with insights specific to each account.
• Stay updated on industry news and trends and their impact on Palo Alto Networks products and services.
• Travel as necessary within the territory and for company-wide meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in sales.
• Demonstrated experience as a dynamic sales professional.
• Motivation to solve critical challenges facing customer secure environments.
• Ability to connect customers with appropriate threat prevention solutions.
• A proactive approach to winning business and market share.
