The Role of Relationship Manager, Private Banking

BSF is seeking a Relationship Manager, Private Banking Central to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to achieving revenue and asset growth targets by delivering appropriate banking solutions and value-added services to the existing client base. The role also involves expanding the portfolio through the acquisition of new high-value clients and fresh assets.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive portfolio growth by identifying opportunities within existing client relationships and promoting cross-selling of BSF products and services in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Achieve assigned budget targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, while continuously monitoring portfolio performance, revenue contribution, and spreads to ensure sustained profitability.
• Conduct client prospecting activities through personal networks, referrals, and business contacts to attract new Private Banking clients and expand the Bank’s client base.

Client Engagement and Financial Solutions

• Build and manage strong relationships with Private Banking clients and key customers by understanding their financial needs.
• Provide tailored banking solutions across the Bank’s comprehensive product suite, including core banking products, Treasury, BSF Capital, JB, and Bancassurance offerings.
• Maintain strong engagement with existing clients by continuously assessing their financial needs and providing appropriate advisory support and banking solutions.
• Gather and analyze client financial information, including assets, liabilities, and revenue sources, to support client servicing and credit evaluation processes.

Operational Oversight and Compliance

• Monitor day-to-day operational activities of client accounts, including maturing deposits and facilities, expiring identification documents and cards, card deliveries, exceptional transactions, dormant accounts, and client consent requirements.
• Maintain a sound understanding of credit operations and associated risks, collaborating closely with credit teams in preparing and processing credit applications.
• Prepare and review supporting documentation related to credit facilities and ensure timely follow-up on client credit requests while monitoring client credit exposures.
• Maintain proper legal documentation and client records, ensuring all client communications are documented and required documentation is obtained in line with internal procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with BSF policies and regulatory requirements, including SAMA and CMA regulations.
• Support capability development within the team by guiding and assisting Relationship Officers on product knowledge, procedures, and client servicing practices.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Relationship Manager position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in private banking or a similar financial relationship management role.
