(Risk Manager)

About the Role

Alalameya Group is seeking a dedicated Risk Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for managing risks associated with major construction projects, ensuring the successful delivery of our initiatives. The role involves a strong focus on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies within a dynamic project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage risks for major construction projects, applying practical experience to identify potential issues.
• Prepare and regularly update the Risk Register, ensuring all identified risks are documented.
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of risk mitigation plans to address identified threats.
• Analyze contractual, financial, and scheduling risks, particularly those related to FIDIC contracts.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including employers, engineers, and subcontractors, regarding risk status and plans.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in managing risks for major construction projects is required.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining Risk Registers and overseeing mitigation strategies.
• Good understanding of FIDIC contracts and their implications for contractual, financial, and scheduling risks.
• Possession of an accredited professional certificate in risk management, such as PMI-RMP.
