Cisco Saudi Arabia is seeking a Consulting Engineer specializing in Routing & Switching (R&S), Software-Defined Access (SDA), and Wireless technologies. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Dhahran, Jeddah, or Makkah, and involves partnering with premier enterprise clients to lead network modernization initiatives. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in relevant fields.

Role Context and Impact

As a Consulting Engineer within Cisco Customer Experience (CX) Professional Services, you will serve as a lead technical advisor on complex customer engagements. Your work will focus on end-to-end network modernization across campus and data center environments, driving high-impact delivery in enterprise routing, switching, and high-density wireless technologies. The role emphasizes technical authority, continuous innovation, and trusted customer advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, migration, and optimization of critical enterprise network architectures.
• Architect robust wired and wireless solutions using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
• Manage complex routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, and high-availability switching fabrics.
• Architect and deploy enterprise solutions across SDA fabrics, utilizing technologies such as Catalyst Center, ISE, LISP/VXLAN, and TrustSec.
• Implement and optimize high-density wireless networks.
• Review and approve technical work, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Integrate AI-driven automation workflows using Python or Ansible.
• Provide support during critical customer outages.
• Mentor delivery peers within the professional services organization.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise routing, switching, and high-density wireless technologies.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
• Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Familiarity with SDA fabrics, including Catalyst Center, ISE, LISP/VXLAN, and TrustSec.
• Experience with automation tools like Python or Ansible is beneficial.
