Safety Officer

About the Role

Linnk Group is seeking an experienced SEC Approved Safety Officer for a project-based contract role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position requires a professional with proven experience in construction, industrial, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of safety regulations, risk management, and workplace compliance.

Role Summary

The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, investigating incidents, and ensuring a safe working environment across project sites. The ideal candidate will possess valid Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Approval and expertise in these areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable safety regulations.
• Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure employees follow required safety practices.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness/training sessions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, and prepare detailed reports.
• Recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and other HSE documentation.
• Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.
• Coordinate with management and employees to improve workplace safety standards.
• Ensure unsafe activities or conditions are reported and addressed promptly.
• Support internal and external safety audits and inspections.
• Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in construction, industrial, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, risk management, and workplace compliance.
• Valid Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Approval is mandatory.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing HSE policies.
• Proficiency in conducting safety inspections, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
