Sales Executive

About the Role

PlaceUp is seeking a Sales Executive to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on developing FMCG sales, managing existing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across KSA.

Role Overview

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales and building strong customer relationships. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and managing export orders from initial inquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for international markets.
• Identify and approach new customers, distributors, and business partners.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing international clients.
• Generate leads through market research, outbound sales, networking, and industry contacts.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices and commercial terms, and close sales.
• Handle customer inquiries and follow up on leads and opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, finance, and operations teams to ensure orders are delivered efficiently.
• Manage export orders from initial inquiry through to shipment and delivery.
• Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate CRM/customer records.
• Attend exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events when required.
• Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant sales role, preferably within the FMCG sector. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships is essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires collaboration with various internal departments and engagement with external clients and partners.
