Sales Supervisor

About the Role

Al Safi Danone is seeking a Sales Supervisor to lead a sales team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is focused on achieving sales targets, maintaining strong customer relationships, and maximizing market opportunities within a specific geographic area. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to effectively lead a sales team to meet established sales targets, adhering to company policies, procedures, and systems. The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for fostering strong customer relationships to ensure accelerated growth and capitalize on market opportunities in their assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily meetings with the team to discuss operations, targets, journey plans using Road net, and IDS compliance deviations, agreeing on corrective actions with salesmen post-field visits.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of sales and distribution channels, as well as competitor activities in the area, sharing insights with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) for appropriate actions.
• Develop weekly plans for the assigned area in line with targets and submit these plans to the Branch or Area Sales Manager.
• Monitor the daily sales plan to ensure field implementation and improved customer service based on customer classification.
• Execute agreements with local Key Accounts according to instructions and in alignment with the ASM.
• Maintain positive business relationships with representatives of Key Accounts in the area.
• Create and implement daily journey plans for the sales team to ensure efficient customer route planning, in alignment with company procedures and the ASM.
• Conduct weekly work-withs (route-rides) to ensure Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and standards execution, and to facilitate salesman development through on-the-job coaching.
• Lead daily endorsement sessions, ensuring usage and reporting with OPTSAL in accordance with Sales & Distribution policies and procedures.
• Organize and supervise the activities of a small team to ensure all work within the sales branch activity is carried out efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with procedures.
• Provide formal and informal feedback to subordinates to support their continuous development.
• Train the team in the field on sales fundamentals and skills (Distribution, Coverage, and Visibility) and provide periodic updates on company and sales policies.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant sales role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve sales targets.
• Strong understanding of sales and distribution channels.
• Proficiency in planning and executing daily and weekly sales operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading a small team and requires regular field visits and interaction with customers and key accounts.
