SAS Developer

About the Role

Raqmiyat is seeking a SAS Developer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have spent 4+ years in the banking or financial services sector. The role focuses on automating risk and business reporting processes.

Role Overview

The primary objective of this role is to transform manual and ad-hoc reporting into automated SAS solutions. This includes developing interactive SAS Visual Analytics dashboards. The SAS Developer will collaborate closely with Business, Risk, IT, and Operations teams to achieve these automation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert manual and ad-hoc reports into automated SAS solutions.
• Develop and implement interactive SAS Visual Analytics dashboards.
• Work with Business, Risk, IT, and Operations teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support the automation of risk and business reporting.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a SAS Developer.
• Strong proficiency in SAS coding, SAS Enterprise Guide (EG), SAS Visual Analytics (VA), SAS Scheduler, and Stored Processes.
• Strong experience with SQL and ETL/data management.
• Experience with Excel/VBA/macros and reporting automation.
• Hands-on experience developing SAS VA interactive/live-data dashboards.
• Banking experience, particularly in Credit Risk, ERM, ALM, Retail, Corporate, SME, or Treasury.
• Exposure to PD, LGD, EAD, scorecards, and risk model implementation.
• Knowledge of T24, Cloudera, PostgreSQL, and Data Warehousing (DWH).
• Understanding of loan origination, credit underwriting, and portfolio monitoring.
• Strong business requirement gathering and stakeholder management skills.
