About alfanar and the Role

alfanar, a company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operates extensive construction and manufacturing businesses, alongside design & development centers across the Middle East and internationally. alfanar Building Systems, a Grade I contractor, specializes in manufacturing and marketing a diverse range of building construction products, including ceramic tiles. We are seeking a Section Manager Marketing I EXA Ceramics to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing and coordinating marketing communication, digital marketing, and customer support activities to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and business objectives.

Key Marketing Responsibilities

The Section Manager Marketing I EXA Ceramics will manage day-to-day operations and supervise content and campaign delivery across various marketing functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing marketing communication plans across offline and online channels, supporting market research, monitoring campaign performance, and coordinating product launches and events.
  • Supervising customer care activities to ensure timely and effective handling of inquiries, monitoring service levels, and supporting the resolution of escalated customer issues.
  • Implementing digital marketing activities, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising, while supporting SEO/SEM initiatives and tracking digital campaign performance.
  • Overseeing the development of marketing materials, coordinating content creation (copywriting, visuals, multimedia), and reviewing materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Coordinating with sales teams to develop and deliver marketing materials for product presentations and campaigns, ensuring consistent collateral across all sales channels.
  • Staying updated on market trends, competitor activities, and marketing practices to identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to tools, processes, and communication approaches.

Operational Management and Business Planning

This role requires a strong focus on operational excellence, strategic planning, and continuous improvement, encompassing:

  • Taking full responsibility for the operation as per the job description and required deliverables, anticipating problems, and making timely, proactive decisions.
  • Delivering required results in a timely manner with specified quality and cost, aiming to make a tangible difference and exceed business expectations.
  • Transforming corporate goals into business plans, planning, following up, and executing these plans, monitoring performance, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency, and providing periodic work progress reports.
  • Developing the organizational structure according to current and future requirements, and ensuring the availability of job descriptions for all roles.
  • Developing and coordinating well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities, and promoting the use of automated systems.
  • Ensuring a safe, secure, and legal work environment as per standard regulations.

People Leadership and Development

The Section Manager is expected to demonstrate proficiency in HR aspects and foster a high-performing team environment:

  • Recruiting, recognizing, and cultivating high performers to create a robust second line of management.
  • Recognizing low performers and guiding them to improve or taking appropriate action.
  • Treating subordinates equally without discrimination, with assessment criteria based on performance leading to planned results.
  • Ensuring the availability of a delegation of authority matrix with sufficient delegations as per company policy.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Qualification: Bachelor Degree
  • Work Experience: 6 to 10 Years in a relevant field.
