About Elevenz and the Role

Elevenz is seeking a Senior Accountant specializing in Contracting & E-commerce to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for an experienced professional with 5-10 years of accounting experience, specifically within both project-based contracting and digital retail environments.

Role Purpose

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial operations across our contracting projects and e-commerce platform. This involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, maintaining compliance with established accounting procedures, and providing robust financial oversight for diverse business activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and audit project progress billings, accurately linking all project expenses and revenues to cost centers to determine individual project profitability.
• Ensure full adherence to the company's established documentary cycle, including purchase orders, receipt and payment vouchers, invoices, and inventory in/out documents.
• Track e-commerce store sales, shipping costs, and manage the digital inventory of goods for e-commerce accounting.
• Match and reconcile payments received from Buy-Now-Pay-Later platforms (Tabby & Tamara) and other payment gateways.
• Process and post daily journal entries through Qoyod and Odoo accounting systems, and develop analytical models using Excel.
• Prepare periodic tax filings and VAT returns for commercial invoices and contracting progress billings.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Strong experience in progress billing accounting, including structuring and directing journal entries based on project cost centers.
• Full and deep understanding of the accounting documentary cycle, with the ability to audit and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Prior experience combining contracting company and e-commerce store account management.
• Precise knowledge of how Tabby and Tamara platforms operate and reconcile.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• High ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Qoyod and Odoo, and advanced Excel for analytical modeling.
