The Role of Senior Advisory Manager

Mace is seeking a Senior Advisory Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to lead integrated teams throughout various phases of the project. The role primarily involves overseeing financial feasibility analysis and ensuring robust governance across complex, multi-asset class developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with governance policies, plans, procedures, and approval frameworks.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership behaviors and uphold organizational values.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models to assess project feasibility across multiple business units and asset classes, including real estate, hospitality, leisure, retail, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure financial models adhere to best-practice standards, incorporating sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and dynamic assumptions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, valuation methodologies, and sector benchmarks to enhance financial modeling capabilities.
  • Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, presenting clear financial implications and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with business units to develop, refine, and validate financial assumptions supporting key initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency, comparability, and standardization of financial analyses across asset classes for portfolio-level reporting.
  • Maintain governance of financial feasibility workstreams, ensuring adherence to internal policies, controls, and approval processes.
  • Implement version control, audit trails, and standardized templates to improve transparency, accuracy, and replicability.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Development, and Finance teams to align financial feasibility outputs with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate complex financial and modeling outcomes effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial feasibility analysis through automation and advanced analytics tools.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, strengthening internal financial modeling capabilities.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in advisory or financial modeling roles.
  • Previous experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the broader Middle East region is preferred.
  • Demonstrated exposure to multi-asset class environments, such as residential, hospitality, retail, entertainment, sports, and infrastructure projects.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining complex financial models.
  • Strong analytical skills, including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
