Senior Appian Developer Process & Workflow

About the Role

Halian is seeking a Senior Appian Developer – Process & Workflow to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires extensive experience in software development, with a strong focus on Appian development and workflow automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising complex process models and case management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex process models, including escalations, exception handling, SLAs, timer events, and approval workflows.
• Implement enterprise-scale case management capabilities to support banking operations and customer journeys.
• Configure decision tables, expression rules, and reusable business logic components.
• Deliver maker-checker controls, segregation of duties, and operational risk controls within process workflows.
• Optimise process performance through efficient design and performance tuning techniques.
• Configure process reporting, operational dashboards, and compliance tracking functionality.
• Support QA testing, UAT activities, and production issue resolution.
• Perform peer reviews and mentor junior developers on Appian best practices.
• Collaborate with architects and business analysts to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of software development experience.
• At least 6 years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• Strong exposure to workflow automation and business process management solutions.

This role is based in Riyadh and operates on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment, contributing to critical process and workflow initiatives.
