Senior Backend Developer

About the Role

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite role requires a strong technical professional with extensive hands-on experience in Java-based backend systems and integrations. The successful candidate will also contribute to light solution design and provide technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Work on microservices architecture and system integrations.
• Lead backend implementation efforts, including code reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance.
• Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation, and support architecture discussions.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, platform, and client teams to ensure cohesive development.
• Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of backend systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on experience in Java-based backend systems and integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a technical lead.
• Experience ranging from 5 to 10 years in backend development.
