About Mace and the Role

Mace, a company that integrates construction expertise with consultancy, is seeking a Senior Cost Control Manager. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will contribute to a transformative mixed-use development located in Abha. The role focuses on delivering large-scale projects that support regional growth and vision.

Project Overview

The project is a significant mixed-use development in Abha, Saudi Arabia, designed to create a world-class destination. It integrates residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure, and public realm components. This initiative supports the region’s future vision and growth aspirations, contributing to the ongoing transformation of the Kingdom and establishing a lasting legacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project delivery across timeframes, budgets, and risk parameters.
  • Lead end-to-end project management from inception through to completion.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations through clear communication.
  • Champion health, safety, and wellbeing across all project teams.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise to enhance Mace programmes.
  • Drive collaboration among client, consultant, and contractor teams.
  • Manage programme integration across design, procurement, and delivery phases.
  • Lead strategic initiatives, including business development and commercial performance.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes and embed best practices.
  • Lead and develop teams while fostering continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Contribute to the common goal of net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, with ongoing professional development and progression toward chartership with a recognised professional body.
  • Minimum of 20 years of total professional experience, including at least 7 years of experience within Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven leadership in health, safety, and wellbeing, demonstrated through measurable outcomes and the embedding of best practices.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of relevant legislation within complex organisational environments.
  • Ability to meet necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Relevant work experience on high-valued projects or programmes for a project management consultancy business, required for immigration and client approval.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
