About the Senior Data Analyst Role

GO Telecom is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights through the design, development, and maintenance of analytical solutions. The role requires a blend of strong technical skills in data modeling and reporting, coupled with an ability to create clear and compelling data visualizations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring accuracy, performance, and visual effectiveness.
• Write and optimize DAX measures and calculations to address complex analytical requirements.
• Write, transform, and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction and preparation from relational sources, focusing on optimal performance.
• Build and manage paginated and operational reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Apply data visualization best practices to present information clearly and communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Business Intelligence solutions, partnering with stakeholders to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting standards.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all Business Intelligence deliverables.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing dashboards and reporting solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience with Power BI and advanced DAX.
• Strong command of SQL, including advanced querying, data transformation, and performance tuning.
• Excellent knowledge of dashboard building and data visualization principles.
• Practical experience with SSRS for report development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with various business units to understand their data needs and deliver impactful analytical solutions.
