The Role: Senior Delay Analyst

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Delay Analyst to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves providing clients with expert advice on time-related construction claims. The successful candidate will conduct forensic analysis of project information and data, contributing to prestigious construction and infrastructure projects within the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and defending extension of time claims, including critical path delay analysis and drafting claim narratives.
• Collaborating with project teams to identify delay events for claim submissions.
• Applying industry-standard delay analysis methodologies to quantify delays on construction projects.
• Producing high-quality analytical reports that establish cause and effect for construction delays and demonstrate entitlement to Extension of Time (EOT).
• Undertaking program critiques and delay analysis critiques.
• Evaluating program updates, schedule integrity, and conducting forensic program reviews.
• Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to clients clearly.
• Supporting Delay Experts in construction disputes through fact-finding, detailed analysis, delay quantification, presentation of findings, and report writing.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Delay Analyst.
• Demonstrated experience in forensic analysis of project information and data related to construction claims.
• Proficiency in applying industry-standard delay analysis methodologies.
• Experience in preparing and defending extension of time claims.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and offers the opportunity to work on significant construction and infrastructure projects within the GCC. Turner & Townsend focuses on program and project management, cost and commercial management, and asset management strategy, working with prominent clients on large-scale projects globally.
