About the Senior Designer - Design Role

LEO MEA (Middle East & Africa) is seeking a Senior Designer - Design for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for leading creative output, focusing on brand identities, guidelines, and the application of AI in design. The ideal candidate will be a creative and innovative talent with a strong understanding of design principles and emerging technologies.

Role Responsibilities

The Senior Designer - Design will interpret client briefs and translate them into effective creative solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading creative work and ensuring high-quality brand design output.
• Collaborating with AI team members to ensure design alignment with brand image.
• Ensuring consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.
• Reviewing product positioning and online marketing content for potential improvements.
• Staying current with emerging digital and AI trends to enhance creative work.
• Articulating and presenting creative ideas and treatments effectively.
• Working closely with insights and strategy teams to develop breakthrough creative concepts and articulate them in creative briefs.
• Coordinating with multi-skilled teams, including designers, strategists, researchers, and production specialists, through briefings, direction, storyboarding, and review meetings.
• Leading creative presentations and orchestrating team members during presentations.
• Monitoring and circulating the latest design-related trend information.
• Capturing and documenting project case studies.
• Contributing to business development efforts, client opportunities, proposal writing, and presentations.

Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of AI tools specifically for design, and broader knowledge of tools for content generation.
• Experience working across various asset types, including static, video, and animation, with the ability to identify opportunities for pivotable assets.
• Strong conceptual, composition, photo art direction, and ideation skills. A digitally native understanding of platform-specific effectiveness combined with the ability to think about overall design and voice is essential.
• Proficiency in best practices for various digital social media deliverables, including video and display.
• A detail-oriented approach, with diligence in file management and version control.
• A digital portfolio showcasing a range of professional design projects, ideally including digital, social, web, and motion design.
• Hands-on experience with creative graphic production design software and image editing software, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects.
