Senior Director Precinct Development

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Director - Precinct Development to lead the end-to-end development of a major Urban Core mixed-use precinct in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role requires an experienced development executive to balance commercial outcomes with urban experiences, creating activated destinations that support economic growth and long-term asset performance.

Precinct Development Focus

The precinct will encompass public realm, public spaces, retail, food & beverage, commercial office, lifestyle, civic, mobility, and destination assets. The Senior Director will act as the precinct owner, guiding development strategy, business planning, design governance, commercial structuring, stakeholder management, investment readiness, and delivery integration. The objective is to ensure the precinct achieves its commercial, operational, placemaking, and long-term value creation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall development strategy and business plan for a large-scale mixed-use precinct.
• Maintain accountability for development outcomes across the precinct portfolio.
• Establish clear development objectives aligned with Urban Core and wider organisational goals.
• Direct development activities from feasibility through design, procurement, delivery, activation, and operational readiness.
• Drive development decisions that optimise long-term asset value, commercial performance, and placemaking outcomes.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in development leadership.
• Demonstrated capability in managing complex mixed-use developments.
• Proven ability to balance commercial objectives with high-quality urban experiences.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic environment focused on large-scale urban development projects.
