About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading and supervising various electrical systems within large-scale mixed-use developments, requiring over 10 years of experience in the field.

Role Overview

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of electrical systems across significant residential and commercial projects. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant standards and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver robust electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the supervision of MV/LV power, lighting, emergency power, earthing, lightning protection, and electrical life-safety systems.
Review electrical designs, shop drawings, load calculations, single-line diagrams, and material submittals.
Coordinate electrical distribution across residential, commercial, retail, office, clubhouse, and public areas.
Manage interfaces with utility providers, infrastructure networks, MEP systems, and architectural finishes.
Monitor installations, testing, energisation, commissioning, and performance verification.
Review RFIs, method statements, protection studies, and technical proposals.
Manage electrical inspections, snagging, handover, and O&M documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

Proven experience of over 10 years on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution, transformers, generators, UPS, lighting, earthing, and life-safety systems.
Experience in testing, commissioning, energisation, and authority coordination.
Knowledge of SBC, SEC requirements, IEC, NFPA, and NEC standards.
Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is mandatory.
