Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience, with a strong focus on luxury hotel and resort projects. The role involves overseeing day-to-day electrical work on-site, ensuring compliance with project standards, and prioritizing guest comfort, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and provide comments on technical documents related to electrical work, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, inspection requests, and test reports.
• Prepare technical reports, daily/weekly progress inputs, and support snagging and de-snagging activities.
• Supervise the construction of electrical infrastructure works, such as external LV networks, feeders, utility interfaces, road/landscape lighting, earthing, and lightning protection.
• Oversee building electrical works, including LV distribution boards, cabling, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, and power supply to equipment.
• Verify that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
• Coordinate on-site with civil, mechanical, ELV, and architectural teams to prevent clashes.
• Attend site and coordination meetings, reporting site issues, constraints, and necessary actions.
• Follow up on testing and commissioning activities and support system handover processes.
• Assist in the verification of as-built drawings and O&M documentation against site conditions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in large-scale projects.
• Solid experience in hospitality projects, specifically completed 5-star hotels or resorts.

• Basic computer skills, including MS Office, with AutoCAD experience being an advantage.
• Effective communication skills.

Work Environment

This role is based on-site in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and requires full-time commitment to project execution and supervision.
