Role Overview

HRsource is seeking a Senior Finance Director for a high-growth technology company client. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this full-time executive role reports directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will lead the finance function, contributing to corporate strategy, driving financial performance, securing capital, executing strategic acquisitions, and preparing the business for a future IPO. This position requires over 10 years of experience in corporate finance within a fast-paced technology environment.

Strategic Leadership and Corporate Finance

This role involves acting as a strategic finance partner to the CEO and Board, influencing business strategy and long-term value creation. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading corporate financial strategy, capital allocation, and business planning.
• Providing financial insight to support growth, expansion, and investment decisions.
• Leading equity and debt fundraising initiatives with institutional investors, private equity, venture capital, and financial institutions.
• Developing investment materials, financial models, and business cases for investors and lenders.
• Managing relationships with shareholders, investors, banks, and external advisors.
• Leading the evaluation, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.
• Developing financial models and transaction structures, and overseeing post-acquisition integration and synergy realization.
• Leading the company's IPO readiness strategy, ensuring finance, governance, reporting, and internal controls meet public market standards.
• Coordinating with investment banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulators throughout the listing process.
• Supporting all financial aspects of a successful public offering.

Operational Finance and Team Management

The Senior Finance Director will oversee the core financial operations and lead the development of the finance team. Responsibilities include:

• Leading FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow management, financial reporting, tax, audit, and compliance.
• Ensuring robust financial controls, governance, and compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Optimizing liquidity, working capital, and overall financial performance.
• Building and developing a high-performing finance organization.
• Driving finance transformation, automation, and process improvement.
• Fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement within the finance function.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance leadership within the technology sector and meet the following requirements:

• MBA and/or professional certifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Senior Finance Director, VP Finance, or CFO within a technology, SaaS, fintech, software, or digital business.
• Mandatory experience in Saudi Arabia with strong knowledge of local regulatory, tax, and business environments.
• Demonstrated success in leading capital raising, debt financing, and investor engagement initiatives.
• Proven track record executing M&A transactions from origination through integration.
• Hands-on experience preparing a business for an IPO or supporting a public listing.
