Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

Hyrd Consulting is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a leading venture capital firm based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves working within a multi-entity investment platform that focuses on high-growth startups across the MENA region. The role offers broad exposure across various financial functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to financial reporting processes.
• Support audit activities.
• Assist with treasury operations.
• Engage in taxation matters.
• Participate in budgeting cycles.
• Conduct portfolio company analytics.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
• A degree in Accounting/Finance and/or a professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, CFA, or SOCPA.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with Pivot Tables, Data Validation, and What-If Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, integrity, and ownership.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in venture capital, investment firms, or technology startups is preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi VAT, Zakat, and ZATCA requirements is considered an advantage.
