About the Role

AESG is an international specialist consultancy, engineering, and advisory firm with a presence in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, UK, Singapore, and Egypt. We are seeking a Senior Fire Protection Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. This role is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of fire and life safety for our clients by delivering high-quality inspection and compliance services. The primary purpose is to ensure fire and life safety systems are installed, tested, and maintained in full compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements, supporting successful project execution through diligent site inspections and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site inspections for fire protection and life safety systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Witness testing and commissioning activities, verifying system performance and documentation.
  • Identify non-conformities, issue detailed inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve site-related fire protection issues.
  • Attend inspections with Civil Defence and other relevant authorities as required.
  • Prepare clear inspection reports, snag lists, and compliance records.
  • Ensure all activities align with HSE requirements and company IMS procedures.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Assist with technical inputs for proposals and business development activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification related to fire and life safety systems.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in fire protection inspection, testing, commissioning, or site supervision.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of international fire codes and standards, including NFPA, IBC, BS, and the UAE Fire Code.
  • Expertise in NFPA, CFPS, IFE standards and Civil Defence Approval processes.
  • Proficiency in adhering to HSE requirements and company IMS procedures.
  • Ability to provide technical inputs for proposals.
  • Experience in business development activities is beneficial.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, KSA. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.
