About the Role

Roomcm is seeking a Senior Interior Designer and Sales professional for a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh. This role involves leading interior design projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering comprehensive design and furnishing solutions.

Role Overview

The Senior Interior Designer and Sales role at Roomcm is responsible for managing interior design projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with the company's brand partnerships. The position requires a blend of design expertise and client-facing sales capabilities, contributing to the end-to-end delivery of interior design and furniture services.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and presenting design concepts, including mood boards and sketches.
• Overseeing detailed space planning, material selection, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specifications.
• Producing and reviewing construction drawings to ensure design intent is accurately translated.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to maintain design quality and standards.
• Guiding and mentoring junior design team members.
• Participating in client meetings and managing project timelines.
• Ensuring all project deliverables align with Roomcm's design vision and brand partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Between 5 to 10 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record in managing projects from concept to execution.
• Strong skills in interior design, space planning, and developing functional and aesthetically cohesive layouts.
• Solid understanding of architecture and construction drawings for effective stakeholder coordination.
• Proficiency in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including familiarity with international furniture and finishes brands.
• Advanced proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as presentation tools.
• Demonstrated experience in client communication and on-site supervision.
• Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and suppliers in Riyadh or the wider region is considered an advantage.
