Senior ITS Engineer

About the Role

Dar is seeking a Senior ITS Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for a professional with over 10 years of experience. The role involves managing and supervising the design, installation, integration, and commissioning of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) within various road and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review ITS design drawings, interface diagrams, and system architecture to ensure compliance and functionality.
• Oversee the installation and testing of various ITS components, including CCTV, Variable Message Signs (VMS), Traffic Control systems, Sensors, and Communication Networks.
• Ensure seamless system integration between ITS, traffic management centers, and related infrastructure components.
• Coordinate effectively with road, electrical, and telecom disciplines to facilitate smooth project implementation.
• Verify strict compliance with client specifications and relevant international standards throughout all project phases.
• Manage contractor submissions, conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) procedures, and oversee as-built documentation.
• Provide support to the client and Project Management Consultant (PMC) team during the handover and operational readiness stages of projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in ITS systems design, installation, integration, and commissioning.
• Demonstrated experience in managing ITS systems within road and infrastructure projects.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active involvement in project sites and coordination with various stakeholders.
