About the Role

Mimar Al-Qimmah is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for a professional with 7+ years of proven experience in surveying within the construction and contracting industry. The role involves critical surveying tasks for various building construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform setting-out, as-built surveys, leveling, quantity verification, and site measurements.
• Operate and maintain various surveying equipment, including Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and Digital Level.
• Prepare and modify survey drawings, coordinates, profiles, and surface models using AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, IFC drawings, shop drawings, and survey plans.
• Ensure adherence to surveying procedures, coordinate systems, control points, benchmarks, and construction tolerances.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience in surveying within the construction/contracting industry.
• Hands-on experience in building construction projects, including reinforced concrete (RC) works, finishing works, infrastructure, and external works. (Candidates with experience limited to road projects only are not preferred.)

Technical Proficiency

• Proficiency in operating Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, Digital Level, and other surveying equipment.
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Ability to prepare and modify survey drawings, coordinates, profiles, and surface models.
• Excellent understanding of surveying procedures, coordinate systems, control points, benchmarks, and construction tolerances.

Desired Attributes

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Previous GCC experience is an advantage.
• Valid driving license is preferred.
• Immediate availability or a short notice period is a plus.
