Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

White Art Ltd Co. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems for various fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the field.

Role Overview

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, across commercial, retail, hospitality, office, and residential fit-out projects. This responsibility spans from the tendering phase through to project handover, ensuring all aspects meet required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate shop drawings, technical submittals, and material submissions.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and other MEP disciplines to resolve project clashes.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, testing, and snagging for all mechanical works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure procurement and installation quality.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and technical specifications, supporting tendering and estimation processes.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, quality requirements, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically with fit-out projects.
• Demonstrated experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Essential Skills

• Strong coordination and communication skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight fit-out schedules.
• Strong problem-solving skills for on-site technical issues.
• Leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and mechanical site staff.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on project-based work within various commercial, retail, hospitality, office, and residential settings.
