About the Role

Mace is a global company specializing in shaping and managing the built environment, combining construction expertise with consultancy. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a significant program in Saudi Arabia, focused on a major mixed-use development encompassing sports facilities, entertainment venues, arts spaces, and associated infrastructure. We are seeking a Senior MEP Manager to oversee the high-quality, safe, and profitable delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, ensuring alignment with program objectives and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of MEP works across assigned packages and assets.
• Manage MEP consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors throughout the design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure MEP designs are fully coordinated with architectural, structural, and infrastructure disciplines for seamless integration.
• Drive strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW), quality, sustainability, and commissioning requirements.
• Oversee MEP programme management, cost control, risk management, and change management processes, proactively resolving issues.
• Interface effectively with client representatives, relevant authorities, utility providers, and wider programme teams.
• Lead integrated testing, commissioning, and handover processes to operations teams.
• Provide strong technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the development and implementation of program-wide best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering; chartered status is desirable.
• Over 10 years of extensive proven experience in a senior MEP management role, specifically on large, complex mixed-use theming and entertainment developments from a PMC/consultant perspective.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects within the Middle East, with a preference for experience in Saudi Arabia.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Strong understanding of international codes, standards, and authority approval processes.
• Excellent stakeholder and interface management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
• A collaborative and proactive leadership style, aligned with Mace’s safety-first and values-led culture.
