Senior Operations Manager

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for a full-time senior leadership position in Riyadh. This role involves primary accountability for the successful planning, execution, and closure of assigned projects across Saudi Arabia, while actively contributing to business growth and ensuring high client engagement and satisfaction.

Role Context and Scope

The Senior Operations Manager will lead a portfolio of programs and projects. The position requires deep market and industry knowledge, awareness of ongoing trends, value propositions, and competitor activities to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by identifying opportunities for additional services, new projects, and contract extensions to achieve targeted new contracts and sales.
• Achieve targeted revenue (ITD and annual) through effective program delivery and timely revenue recognition.
• Manage project/program profitability, control costs, optimize resource utilization, and monitor financial performance to achieve targeted gross margin.
• Ensure collection of targeted days, aiming for a DSO of 90 days.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, proactively engaging to understand requirements and achieve 85% client satisfaction.
• Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, workshops, and networking activities.
• Ensure successful project/program delivery in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual obligations.
• Implement and comply with Performance Index (PPI) requirements.
• Identify, assess, manage, and mitigate risks and opportunities across projects/programs.
• Drive a strong HSEQ culture by monitoring requirements and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain market intelligence by monitoring industry trends, competitive landscape, and client investment plans.
• Provide management with insights on market dynamics to support business planning and pursuit strategies.
• Support sales and business development activities, including proposal development and negotiations.
• Sponsor knowledge management and Talent and Organization Development initiatives.
• Ensure fulfillment of Saudization targets and promote diversity within projects/programs.
• Maintain employee engagement and improve manager effectiveness within projects/programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15+ years of experience in project management.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects within the construction or infrastructure industry.
