Role Overview

HungerStation is seeking a Senior Product Design Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves defining and driving product design strategy, ensuring design excellence, and leading a team of Product Designers. The manager will be responsible for translating complex customer and business problems into scalable experiences, advocating for customer-centric decision-making, and ensuring design impact is measured through key metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute product design strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to shape product strategy and roadmaps.
• Identify experience gaps and opportunities across the customer journey.
• Maintain and elevate the quality of HungerStation’s digital experiences.
• Establish design principles, patterns, and standards, and lead the evolution of the design system.
• Ensure design decisions are informed by research, customer feedback, data, and usability testing.
• Measure design impact through conversion, engagement, adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Data, Research, Commercial, Marketing, and Operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Designers, setting clear expectations for ownership and impact.
• Contribute to the development and execution of divisional objectives and key results (OKRs).
• Manage the budgeting cycle for the function and ensure effective utilization of resources.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in product design, with a focus on leadership and strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex problems into simple, scalable user experiences.
• Experience in establishing and evolving design systems.
• Proficiency in using customer insights and data to inform design decisions.
• Proven leadership skills in managing and developing design teams.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and influence stakeholders across multiple teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires close collaboration with various internal departments and senior leadership to ensure alignment and successful delivery of customer experiences.
