Senior Project Execution Engineer

About the Role

Daikin Saudi is seeking a Senior Project Execution Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on delivering HVAC projects across the KSA Central Region, encompassing chiller replacements, retrofit work, VRV supply and installation, and turnkey solutions. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Senior Project Execution Engineer is responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from sales handover through planning, execution, monitoring, control, financial governance, commissioning, and close-out. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in compliance with contractual agreements, and aligned with quality and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate project scope, specifications, commercial terms, and contractual obligations received from the Sales team, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Lead project kick-off meetings to establish objectives, success criteria, and communication protocols.
• Plan project schedules, resource allocation, procurement, cash flow, and costs, coordinating engineering, design, procurement, and logistics activities.
• Review technical submittals, method statements, and compliance documentation, leading site execution and managing subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to HSE compliance and coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent project delays.
• Track baseline schedules, milestones, costs, variations, and change orders, reporting progress and forecasts, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, margin protection, payments, variations, and claims against contractual and profitability targets.
• Oversee HVAC testing and commissioning, final inspections, snag list closure, approvals, and handover documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties.
• Secure client acceptance and formal project closure, reviewing performance, risks, and financial outcomes, capturing lessons learned, and supporting service teams during the defect liability period.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in project execution, preferably within the HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from initiation to close-out.
• Strong understanding of project planning, financial governance, and quality standards.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Riyadh Region, Saudi Arabia. The role involves delivering projects across KSA's Central Region.
