Senior Quantity Surveyor (Chartered)

About the Role

Sinopack Search is recruiting for an established international engineering consultancy that is expanding its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The consultancy is seeking to appoint several Senior Quantity Surveyors to manage both pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.

Project Portfolio

The successful candidates will work on a broad range of developments within Saudi Arabia. These projects include residential, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, and high-rise constructions. The role requires professionals who are technically hands-on and capable of taking ownership of assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates from feasibility through to tender stage.
• Producing accurate quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities.
• Reviewing drawings and specifications.
• Performing value engineering and design economics.
• Supporting tender documentation and procurement processes.
• Administering contracts.
• Managing variations, Extensions of Time (EOTs), and commercial assessments.
• Handling bank guarantees, insurances, and contractual correspondence.
• Working with FIDIC, JCT, and similar contract frameworks.
• Liaising directly with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities.
• Strong technical skills and a proactive approach to project ownership.
• Experience with diverse project types, including residential, mixed-use, hospitality, commercial, and high-rise developments.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position. The successful candidate will join a growing team within an established international engineering consultancy.
