Senior Site Engineer (Civil / Architectural)

About the Role

Al Rugaib Holding Company is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer (Civil / Architectural) to join its contracting and construction team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires leading day-to-day site execution on fast-track building projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control daily site activities for civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and the project schedule.
• Direct and coordinate subcontractors, allocate work areas, and monitor their productivity and manpower.
• Prepare and review look-ahead programs, daily and weekly progress reports, and site records.
• Coordinate with the consultant, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to resolve interfaces and site issues.
• Raise inspection requests (IRs/WIRs) and attend inspections with QA/QC and the consultant.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs related to civil and architectural works.
• Verify subcontractor quantities and support the QS team in preparing interim payment applications.
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior site engineers and supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant role within contracting and construction.
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day site execution of civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring project delivery within specified parameters.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis within a dynamic construction environment focused on fast-track building projects.
