About the Role
*******, an Arabic-first AI company based in Riyadh, is seeking a Senior Software Sales professional to join its team. The company focuses on developing sovereign AI products for government and enterprise clients within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to driving revenue growth and expanding market presence in the Saudi Arabian market.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Sales professional, you will be responsible for managing and growing the revenue pipeline across the Kingdom. This involves engaging with government entities, semi-government organizations, and large enterprises to sell *******'s AI-powered software solutions. The position requires close collaboration with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure successful deal closures and to nurture existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting to deal closure, for *****, SAFHA, and the broader Velents platform, targeting Saudi Arabian government and enterprise accounts.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, with a focus on key sectors including ministries, government agencies, banks, telecommunications, and other large Saudi enterprises.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with C-suite executives, IT leadership, and procurement teams within target organizations.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and solutions teams to develop compelling proposals, respond to RFPs, and deliver technical demonstrations.
- Navigate and understand complex government procurement processes, including Etimad, NUPCO, and direct ministry engagement protocols.
- Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts across the product suite.
- Represent ******* at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements in Saudi Arabia.
- Provide market intelligence on the competitive landscape, pricing, and client needs to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and detailed pipeline reporting within the CRM system.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A strong understanding of Saudi government procurement processes, including Etimad, framework agreements, and direct award mechanisms.
- Proven experience in selling AI, cloud, or digital transformation solutions is highly preferred.
- An established network within Saudi ministries, semi-government entities, or key enterprise verticals such as banking, telecommunications, or healthcare.
- Fluent command of Arabic (professional/native) is essential, alongside strong English proficiency.
- Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate to Riyadh.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires 5-10 years of experience. Familiarity with conversational AI, document processing, or HR tech products is considered advantageous. Experience working with channel partners such as IBM, PwC, or other systems integrators is also beneficial. An understanding of Vision 2030 digital transformation programs and NDMO/SDAIA data governance initiatives, as well as prior experience with RFP/RFQ response processes for Saudi government tenders, would be valuable.
