About ARIS and the Senior Solution Architect Role

ARIS, a leader in Process Intelligence and part of Software GmbH, helps organizations transform their processes into tangible value. Recognized by Gartner and Forrester for its integrated suite managing the entire process lifecycle, ARIS enables companies to define, analyze, simulate, optimize, and control their operations across various industries. We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis.

Role Purpose and Contribution

As a Senior Solution Architect within our presales team, this role is responsible for supporting and managing strategic ARIS opportunities. The architect acts as a passionate advocate for Business Process Management (BPM), engaging with C-level stakeholders to articulate the value and benefits of ARIS solutions and BPM strategies. This position requires a professional with 10+ years of experience in presales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocating for Business Process Management (BPM) principles and practices.
  • Leading and supporting cross-functional teams throughout the customer buying journey.
  • Engaging in C-level discussions to present the value and benefits of ARIS solutions and BPM strategies.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance on BPM best practices and solution implementation.
  • Delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations of ARIS tool capabilities.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and responding to RFPs and RFIs with precision.
  • Delivering high-quality Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Proof of Value (PoV) projects.
  • Developing industry-specific or use case-specific showcases to highlight solution effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with product and development teams to align customer feedback with product enhancements.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to position ARIS BPM solutions effectively.
  • Mentoring and training junior team members on BPM best practices and solution delivery.
  • Contributing to the development of sales strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Participating in industry events, webinars, and conferences to promote BPM solutions and gather market insights.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in presales.
  • Proven ability to effectively present technology solutions to executive-level stakeholders, with a focus on value-driven selling and business impact.
  • Hands-on experience with ARIS or similar BPM tools, including the ability to demonstrate and configure these platforms.
  • Strong technical acumen to address customer inquiries on topics such as product architecture, security, and integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand customer challenges and propose effective BPM solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to stay current with the latest BPM trends, tools, and methodologies, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation in customer solutions.
  • Business fluent in English.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience as a BPM practitioner in roles such as presales or consulting.
  • Experience with BPM disciplines including Process Modeling, Process Mining, Simulation, Process Governance, Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
  • Direct experience using or implementing ARIS or a similarly mature product is a significant advantage.
  • Participation in key transformation, operational excellence, compliance, or risk management projects as a consultant, subject matter expert, or project manager.
