Senior System Engineer

About the Role

Nextwo Co. is seeking a Senior System Engineer to manage and develop its Microsoft identity and messaging infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves administering Active Directory, ADFS, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange, and DNS, ensuring these systems remain secure, stable, and well-documented. The Senior System Engineer will collaborate with security, network, and helpdesk teams to resolve complex issues and implement system upgrades and migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Active Directory, including OU structure, GPOs, replication, and site topology.
• Manage ADFS for federated authentication and SSO, and Microsoft Entra ID for conditional access and hybrid identity (Entra Connect).
• Manage Exchange Server and/or Exchange Online, including mailboxes, mail flow, transport rules, and distribution groups.
• Administer and troubleshoot internal and external DNS.
• Monitor the health, performance, and security of AD and identity infrastructure.
• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and patching across AD, ADFS, Exchange, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, identity, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and runbooks, collaborate with security, network, and helpdesk teams, and participate in on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure administration.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, ADFS (claims rules, trust configuration), Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Exchange Server and/or Exchange Online, and DNS.
• Solid Windows Server administration and PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Native Arabic and advanced English communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring collaboration with various technical teams including security, network, and helpdesk.
