About the Role

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President, Client Strategist to join its Wealth Management team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position reports to the Head of Family Office Services in the US, with a secondary reporting line to the Saudi Office CEO. BNY is a leading global financial services company influencing a significant portion of the world's investible assets, utilizing advanced technology and AI to deliver transformative solutions for clients.

Role Context and Objectives

BNY Wealth Management focuses on assisting affluent individuals and their families in building, managing, and preserving wealth across generations. The team employs a service model centered on five Active Wealth practices: Investing, Borrowing, Spending, Managing Taxes, and Protecting Legacies. The Senior Vice President, Client Strategist will be instrumental in driving business growth by identifying and acquiring new ultra-high net worth clients and Single Family Offices, aligning their wealth circumstances with BNY's value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the comprehensive suite of BNY services to ultra-high net worth individuals and Single Family Offices, primarily through direct engagement and networking.
  • Expand the client base by identifying new prospects whose wealth management needs align with BNY's offerings.
  • Achieve assigned annual production targets and performance rankings within a peer group.
  • Successfully close new business and ensure a smooth transition of day-to-day client management to the designated Wealth Manager, while maintaining ongoing client relationships.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, regional campaigns, and events, and actively participate in local professional networks.
  • Seek opportunities to mentor and contribute to the development of other team members.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, relationship management, or a proven track record of high sales performance within the Wealth Management industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ultra-high net worth individuals, clients with substantial investable assets, and senior personnel of Family Offices.
  • The capacity to analyze complex financial situations and propose suitable services to clients and their advisors.
  • An undergraduate degree is required.
  • Additional certifications and advanced degrees are considered advantageous.

Essential Skills and Certifications

  • Business-level proficiency in Arabic.
  • Possession of the CMA International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management (CME-4A & 4B).
