Role Overview

L & T Case Equipment Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced Site Manager Electrical (Substation) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for overseeing the electrical construction and timely completion of high-voltage substation projects. The role requires a strong background in 380kV BSP projects and mandatory valid SEC approval (Client Approval).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all electrical construction activities for 380kV substation/BSP projects.
• Plan and monitor site execution, including manpower, materials, equipment, and daily progress.
• Coordinate effectively with SEC, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure all works strictly comply with SEC standards, approved drawings, specifications, and project procedures.
• Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, cable works, equipment erection, and all related electrical activities.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Review drawings, method statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and other technical documents prior to execution.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and timely completion of their scope.
• Coordinate with Civil, Protection & Control, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, and Procurement teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper closure of all technical and construction issues.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and SEC inspection/approval activities.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and senior management.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements, striving for zero-incident project execution.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (**********
• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in EHV/HV substation construction projects, including specific experience with 380kV substations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Manager or Construction Manager role.
• Proven hands-on experience with SEC projects and adherence to SEC construction standards.
• Demonstrated experience with 380kV BSP projects.

Technical Expertise and Leadership Skills

• Strong knowledge of GIS installation, power transformers, switchgear, protection systems, cable works, and commissioning activities.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Project Compliance

• Experience working on SEC-approved 380kV Substation Projects is essential.
• Familiarity with SEC General Specifications (SGS), SEC Safety Regulations, and SEC project execution procedures.
• Ability to coordinate directly with SEC Project Management and Construction Supervision teams.
• Possession of valid SEC approval (Client Approval) is a mandatory requirement.
