About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a dedicated SPA Therapist to join our team in Riyadh. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional massage and body treatments, ensuring guest comfort and safety throughout each service. This position is suitable for individuals with foundational experience, with a preference for at least one year in a related field, who are committed to maintaining a professional environment and upholding company standards at W Hotels.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a range of massage and body treatments, including body scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, utilizing appropriate products and techniques.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about any contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before commencing services.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, regularly checking to ensure their comfort, safety, and security during services.
• Arrange and prepare workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes, maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and equipment, and secure all supplies at the end of each shift.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings.
• Monitor and adhere to the daily time schedule for appointments.
• Address inappropriate guest behavior by following Marriott International's standard operating procedures, which may include stopping a treatment and informing a supervisor/manager.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.

Required Qualifications

• State or Regional Massage License (Required).
• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree (Preferred).
• At least 1 year of related work experience (Preferred).

Professional Standards and Abilities

• Maintain current skills and licensure in the service area as per regional requirements.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and expressing genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capable of grasping, turning, manipulating objects of varying size and weight, and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
