About the Specialist - Development FP&A Role

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Specialist in Development Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across development projects and business units. The role is crucial for providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for various departments.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests and provide support for business-specific financial inquiries.
• Work with business units to gather financial data and validate underlying assumptions.
• Support the annual budgeting process through data collection and inter-departmental coordination.
• Ensure the accurate and timely generation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Provide support for Purchase Requisition (PR) requests.
• Analyze financial trends related to revenue, expenses, and other key metrics.
• Participate in financial system updates and contribute to reporting automation initiatives.
• Support internal and external audit requirements pertaining to FP&A activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in development, with a strong understanding of the Leisure & Entertainment or Real Estate sectors.
• Experience gained from a Top Tier Consulting Firm is highly regarded, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the Development, Leisure & Entertainment, or Real Estate sectors.

Essential Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of financial expertise, with a primary focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Digital Finance. A proven ability to analyze large volumes of raw data is essential for success in this role. Strong communication skills are required to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
