Role Overview

The Sr. Specialist Accountant supports accurate financial reporting by managing accounting activities. This includes ensuring the integrity of retail sales, cash, card, and settlement reconciliations. The role focuses on driving efficient processes, maintaining strong financial controls, and ensuring compliance with Group policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute general accounting activities, including journal postings, accruals, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Manage end-to-end retail sales, cash, card, bank, and settlement reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of VAT, tax, and e-invoicing records.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage outstanding items.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities through accurate reconciliations and documentation.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and support lease accounting processes.
• Support internal, external, and statutory audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls, and compliance standards.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should have 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
