About the Role

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Store Manager, Luxury Fashion to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position holds overall accountability for the daily operations of the store and its workforce, ensuring alignment with the business objectives of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle. The Store Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, maximizing profitability, and maintaining the brand and company image while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of the highest levels of customer service by the entire store team at all times.
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
  • Track brand performance, review stock levels, and monitor best sellers and slow-moving stock to generate action plans for increasing overall sales.
  • Coach, train, and mentor store teams to enhance customer service levels through brand and product knowledge, and a comprehensive understanding of retail.
  • Provide critical analytical feedback to the Operations, Buying, and Planning Departments regarding product, ranging, pricing, competitive activities, and market opportunities.

Operational Duties and Compliance

  • Oversee compliance of subordinates with established company policies, procedures, and standards, including funds and properties management, personnel practices, security, sales, and record-keeping procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all Company Health & Safety, Security, and Compliance policies, escalating any concerns to the Excellence and Compliance team promptly.
  • Plan, organize, and execute in-store processes, including cash intake and handling, as well as stockroom and stock-take administration management.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ industry experience with a proven managerial background.
  • Demonstrated track record of maximizing business performance.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Good understanding of main customer segments and the ability to guide the team in understanding them.
  • Ability to identify critical paths and proactively engage relevant stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making.
  • Strong decision-making skills, including knowing when to make a call versus delegating upwards.
