Strategic Planning Manager

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to developing and overseeing the bank's enterprise-wide strategy, ensuring its translation into actionable initiatives and monitoring progress towards strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the enterprise-wide strategy and ensure its translation into a cohesive set of executable initiatives.
• Manage the bank's business plan and ensure alignment with the ePMO.
• Monitor the progress of aspiration targets to ensure the achievement of strategic goals.
• Manage and improve the strategy delivery lifecycle, including the pre-project business case process leading to project approval.
• Enforce continuous improvements of the bank's strategy.
• Provide updates to the transformation and strategy steering committee.
• Oversee Riyad Bank's targets and strategic initiatives progress.
• Provide management support and guidance to initiative owners and portfolio heads for proper execution.
• Provide market insights and research on the banking industry.
• Act as a custodian of the bank's overall strategy.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures, and timely, cost-effective execution of all initiatives.
• Ensure that lessons learned are stored and improvements are made to methodologies based on these lessons.

Reporting and Compliance

• Provide timely and accurate bank-wide Steering Committee reports that meet bank and department requirements, policies, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the department.

People Management

• Ensure all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with an emphasis on developing talented Saudi national staff.
• Facilitate the employment, training, and development of Saudi nationals within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Additional Duties

The Strategic Planning Manager will undertake any other related duties or tasks as directed and required by Riyad Bank.
