About the Role

alfanar, a company operating construction and manufacturing businesses, design & development centers, and facilities across the Middle East and other countries, is seeking a Supervisor CCTV - Facility for its operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 4 to 6 years of experience. alfanar is involved in Electrical, Electromechanical, and Civil Engineering Construction, Manufacturing and Marketing Electrical Construction Products, and Allied Engineering Services, with main divisions including alfanar electric, alfanar Construction, and alfanar Building Systems.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to supervise the daily operation of CCTV monitoring activities. The Supervisor CCTV - Facility will ensure the proper functioning of surveillance and fire safety monitoring systems to maintain security, safety, and facilitate effective incident response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily CCTV monitoring to ensure continuous surveillance of assigned areas.
  • Verify the proper functioning of cameras, recording systems, and monitoring equipment.
  • Monitor system alerts and investigate unusual activities according to security procedures.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to resolve system faults or recurring technical issues.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the Control Room and adherence to monitoring procedures.
  • Oversee shift handovers, ensuring incidents and observations are clearly communicated.
  • Maintain accurate logs of incidents, alarms, and system activities.
  • Ensure control room procedures and security protocols are consistently followed.
  • Supervise CCTV operators during shifts to ensure adequate monitoring coverage.
  • Assign duties and provide support to maintain effective control room operations.
  • Prepare and manage shift schedules to ensure continuous coverage.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to team members to maintain professional performance.
  • Ensure team members follow established monitoring and reporting procedures.
  • Support recruitment by participating in interviews and providing candidate selection input.
  • Monitor fire alarm and life safety system alerts from the control room.
  • Follow approved procedures when alarms or emergency alerts are activated.
  • Coordinate with on-site response teams and emergency services as needed.
  • Ensure all fire and emergency events are properly recorded and reported.
  • Report equipment faults and coordinate with technical teams for repairs or maintenance.
  • Ensure routine testing and system checks are conducted as scheduled.
  • Monitor storage capacity and system performance for reliable operation.
  • Support periodic testing of surveillance and safety systems.
  • Ensure surveillance activities comply with security policies and procedures.
  • Prepare incident reports and provide updates as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of surveillance information and security data.
  • Support security audits and operational reviews.

Role Accountabilities

  • Team Development: Train subordinates and form effective teams to accomplish work. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction. Delegate assignments and ensure fair task distribution to maintain morale.
  • Delivery: Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets within delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively for efficient cost and time achievement. Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve operational problems and escalate complex issues as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes and specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Coordinate well-defined systems, policies, and procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
  • Compliance: Adhere to related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Safety and Environment: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.

Qualifications and Experience

The role requires a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Specific qualifications related to CCTV operation, security systems, and team supervision are expected.
