About the Role
W Hotels in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Supervisor-Pool to join their team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and advertise recreational activity programs and notices using publishing software.
- Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment, reporting low stock items to the supervisor or manager.
- Encourage, recruit, enroll, and schedule guests for participation in recreational activities.
- Foster an atmosphere of relaxation for guests.
- Provide guests with information about recreational facilities and activities.
- Promote the rules and regulations of recreational facilities to ensure guest and member safety and well-being.
- Observe activities in recreational facilities and respond appropriately according to local operating procedures in the event of an emergency.
- Identify potential situations where guests cannot safely participate in an activity and report them to a supervisor/manager.
- Offer assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
- Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a departmental role model or mentor.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager; complete safety training and obtain certifications.
- Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure that uniforms and personal appearance are neat and professional.
- Maintain the privacy of company proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
- Support the team to achieve common goals.
- Meet quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds (** Kg) or its equivalent without assistance.
- Assist in moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing more than 50 pounds (** Kg).
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for the entire work shift.
- Read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (*, to identify defects).
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination.
- Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, waist twisting, crouching, and stooping.
- Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
- Move over sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairways.
- Climb up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Speak to others using clear and professional language; answer the telephone using appropriate etiquette.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
- One year of related work experience.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- CPR Certification.
- First Aid Certification.
- Proficiency with fitness and recreation equipment.
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
