The Role of Surveyor Cost Management Surveyor III

AECOM is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Surveyor Cost Management Surveyor III in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves conducting detailed surveys and managing land information systems, operating under limited supervision with general instructions on new assignments. The role requires a full understanding of the area of specialization and the ability to work on problems of diverse scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveys to determine the locations of natural features and human-made structures on the earth's surface, underground, and underwater, utilizing electronic distance-measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
  • Operate and manage land-information computer systems, performing tasks such as data storage, inquiries, and the production of plots and reports.
  • Review information provided by survey teams regarding measurements of distances, directions, angles between points, and elevations of points, lines, and contours on, above, and below the earth’s surface.
  • Research legal records, seek evidence of previous boundaries, and analyze data to accurately determine the location of boundary lines.
  • Record survey results, verify data accuracy, and prepare plots, maps, and reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant surveying role.
  • Demonstrated full understanding of the area of specialization.
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision and manage diverse tasks.
