About Mawhiba and the Role

Mawhiba is seeking a Team Lead Board & Committees Secretariat to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to supporting the effective governance and administrative functions of Mawhiba’s Board of Directors and its various committees. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and meticulous record-keeping within the secretariat.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to support the robust governance framework of Mawhiba by coordinating Board and committee activities, facilitating the follow-up on decisions, and ensuring strict adherence to approved policies and procedures. The Team Lead will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential records, contributing to the overall administrative effectiveness of the secretariat.

Board and Committee Coordination

  • Coordinate and follow up on the activities of the Board of Directors and its committees to ensure all required procedural and administrative arrangements are completed efficiently.
  • Ensure that all meeting-related requirements, documentation, and formal procedures are completed in accordance with approved regulations and policies.

Decision Tracking and Reporting

  • Follow up on Board and committee decisions with relevant stakeholders and track their implementation against approved timelines.
  • Verify the progress of assigned actions and prepare periodic reports on the implementation status of Board and committee decisions.

Governance, Compliance, and Documentation Management

  • Support the implementation of governance and compliance requirements pertinent to the Board of Directors and its committees.
  • Ensure that related procedures and practices are aligned with approved regulations, policies, and institutional requirements.
  • Contribute to the review and continuous improvement of Board Secretariat procedures and working practices.
  • Oversee the processing of Board and committee members’ entitlements in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Maintain and manage official records, documents, and related information with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and control.

Required Experience

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience. This experience should ideally include working within a board secretariat or in a similar governance support capacity, demonstrating a strong understanding of corporate governance principles and administrative best practices.
